Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AIRA (“AIRA,” “we,” “us”), a personal-goal-tracking service operated by Benjamin Tian (“the Operator”). By creating an account or using AIRA, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

1. What AIRA is

AIRA lets you describe personal goals, which an AI system (“the AI Manager”) structures into a sprint board of tracked stories. You periodically submit “standups” describing your progress; the AI Manager grades them and adjusts a “termination risk” score. You may optionally connect a payment card and set a deposit amount at signup. If your risk score reaches 100%, your account is marked “terminated” and, if a card is on file, that deposit amount is charged to it. If no card is on file, termination is simulated only and nothing is charged.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use AIRA. By signing up, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Create one account per person. We may suspend or terminate accounts we reasonably believe are abusive, fraudulent, or used to circumvent these Terms.

4. The AI Manager is automated, not professional advice

Grading, risk scores, and written feedback from the AI Manager are generated automatically by a third-party AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. Nothing the AI Manager says is medical, financial, legal, fitness, or other professional advice. You’re responsible for your own decisions and wellbeing regardless of what a risk score says.

5. Deposits, charges, and refunds

A deposit you set at signup is not held in escrow or trust on your behalf — it is simply the amount that may be charged to your payment method if your account reaches “terminated” status. Connecting a card is entirely optional; without one, stakes stay simulated and no money ever changes hands.

If a real charge occurs, it is final. We do not offer refunds for deposit charges triggered by reaching 100% termination risk, including if you disagree with the AI Manager’s grading. You can remove or replace your card, or voluntarily reset your account, at any time before termination occurs to avoid a charge. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored by us — see our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use AIRA to submit illegal content, attempt to circumvent rate limits or spend controls, interfere with the service’s operation, or access another user’s account or data without authorization.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the goals, standups, and other text you submit. By submitting it, you grant us a license to process it as needed to operate the service — including sending it to our AI provider for grading. We don’t sell your content.

8. Sharing your board

If you create a public share link for your board, anyone with that link can view the whitelisted, non-sensitive parts of your board. You control whether a share link exists and can revoke it at any time from your dashboard.

9. Disclaimers

AIRA is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We don’t guarantee the service will help you achieve any particular outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of AIRA is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Termination

You may stop using AIRA at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time, including for violations of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to use AIRA after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or AIRA will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
